USA uses a wire colour system specific to the continent which is Black (Live), White (Neutral) and Green/Yellow (Earth). All our products are wired to EU (CE Marked) Wiring regulations which ensure a much stricter quality level and utilise the colours: Brown (Live), Blue (Neutral) and Green/Yellow (Earth).

USA uses the product quality certification's of UL and CSA which uphold the same level of quality as the EU CE Mark. All our products are extensively tested to CE Mark standard and some ranges will also have UL and CSA Certifications which you can acquire by contacting us should you require these.

America uses a Voltage of 110V-120V while the rest of the world's countries uses a voltage of 220-240V. We ensure all our products are tested to 240V which means our light fittings are suitable for both mains electrical supplies of 110V to 240V.

Many countries have their own unique socket and plug types which has been designed for the needs of their 'Earthing protection system'. All our table and floor lamps are fitted with either UK or EU plug's however it is perfectly safe to use a UK/EU to USA adapter plug on any of our table lamps and floor lamps.

The USA use a range of light bulb types similar to the EU with some differences to the nominal/diameter, for this reason some light fittings will require an adapter to use with USA light bulbs which you can identify below:

• E27 Type (European) - Use with United States E26 Type
• E14 Type (European) - Use with an E14 to E12 Adapter
• B22 Type (European) - Use with a B22d to E27 Adapter
• B15d Type (European) - Use with United States B15d or BA15d Type
• All others types will fit perfectly!
